We went on a Friday night 7pm, no reservation and had no wait! Had our puppy with us and grateful he could come along for a laidback, casual meal with peaceful views. Love that Jim’s Dock is BYOB and no fuss! Our meal included oysters, crab cakes, blacked fish w double veggie and husband had fish and chips. Everything was very good. It was a simple, casual meal. Staff were very friendly. If you’re looking for fine dining- this is not it,but it’s a beautiful location with good food and some perks!
Jim’s dock has been an old favorite, we’ve enjoyed the water view, the beach atmosphere along with reasonable prices while being able to enjoy your own drink since the place is byob. With that said, we’ve been noticing a decline on the quality and quantity of the food and an increase in prices. Today we decided to come by after the beach and to make a review short, the fish bites were more fried peppers than fish and the fish tacos were disgusting. Very little fish and stale guacamole. The fish and chips was still tasty and crunchy. I do not recommend it however.
Very laidback and casual vibe with beautiful scenery! Loved that it was BYOB and we could bring our puppy. I am dairy free and they were very accommodating too!
Stopped by Jim’s Dock on a gorgeous weekday afternoon a few months back, and it was such a treat! The relaxed, beachy vibe made it the perfect setting for a laid-back meal. Since it was a quieter day, we got to pick almost any seat we wanted—talk about prime waterfront views! Our server was awesome—super funny and easygoing, which only added to the good vibes. Quick note: it’s BYOB, so plan accordingly if you need a beveragino. I went with their signature fish and chips, and it was a winner. The fish was coated in a crispy cornflake dredge that hit all the right notes—crunchy perfection. The fries were nothing to write home about. On the other hand, the calamari appetizer? Absolute gold. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—I’d order it again in a heartbeat.
Great dock view of the inlet, boats and Galilee. Start with a shrimp cocktail! The melt in your mouth swordfish tacos were fantastic but the fried clams were slightly overcooked. Lobster bisque was creamy and flavorful with huge clam cakes on the side. Friendly staff provide a memorable dining experience.
