Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

One of our favorite places to eat. The food is always hot and the service is excellent. The BBQ is very good, but the Karl's Catfish is outstanding! They have the best restaurant collard greens in town and the potato salad has good flavor! My wife likes the smoked turkey salad (I don't think thats the actual name). The menu seems like it has changed since covid but there are plenty of options to chose from. My second go to meal are the ribs. There is also a well stocked bar at this location. A cold beer with hot fish is hard to beat! A bourbon after the meal is even better!!!

Fantastic meal with the family. I had Baby back ribs and my son got a huge bbq nachos platter. Wife had a bbq stuffed potatothat was about as big as a football! Everything was great. Quick service will come back. Easy on off exit of I 65

Great food! Right off I-65. Great location. The food is served hot! The white sauce is killer. The waitress was great. She had everything I asked for asap. This is fine Alabama food.

Waitress was not very knowledgeable about gluten free, but she did go ask the kitchen. The menu's are marked with the GF symbol next to the ones you can get. No dedicated area for gf so cross contamination is possible. I did not have any problems.

Wow! First time having BBQ in Alabama exceeded our high expectations! We loved everything, and especially the pulled pork! Amanda was a wonderful server and was kind and answered all our questions. We’ll return next time we’re back in town!
