Jessie Rae's BBQ

Very friendly and welcoming staff, but the food was unfortunately cold. I visited this barbecue spot while in the area using a Groupon after seeing it featured in a viral TikTok. The deal was $37 for two people and included chicken, pulled pork, two sides, and two drinks. You have to pay additional 5$ tax directly to the establishment, which is NOT fairly typical with Groupons. I’m honestly not sure how much value the deal provides compared to simply ordering exactly what you want from the regular menu. The sides were quite small, though they did taste good. The main issue was the meat — it was under-seasoned (which wouldn’t have been a big deal since they provide sauce), but more importantly it was barely warm and almost at room temperature. Rib sandwich and cottage fries, the trio sandwich- butt, brisket & hot links god sauce and slaw. All the meats tender with great pit flavors. Cottage fries were seasoned and tasted great. The trio is a large sandwich and messy somehow I didn’t stain my shirt. Starts getting very busy about 11:30. Service is very friendly

Five stars, without hesitation. I just ate at Jessie Rae’s BBQ in Henderson, and this place absolutely lives up to the hype. From the moment I pulled in, the parking lot was packed and the energy inside said everything you want a BBQ joint to say: happy people, full tables, and the smell of seriously good food. Let’s start with the waffle fries. Perfectly seasoned, hot, and fresh. They were delivered to my table by Jessie Rae’s husband himself, which immediately set the tone for how personal and welcoming this place feels. My baseline for spice is already “a little spicy,” and everything I ate landed just a touch above that. Absolutely delicious place! 😋 The smoked meat is incredible — especially the brisket and ribs, so tender and flavorful. We’re sad we discovered this spot only on the day of our flight, but we’ll definitely come back someday! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to all smoked-meat lovers! 🔥

Overall excellent experience. We stopped in and ordered take out and did not eat in the restaurant. The portions were exceedingly generous. I really enjoyed the pulled pork and the hot links, but the brisket was a little too fatty for my liking. We will definitely return and most likely add this to our regular dining rotation.
