Jersey Mike's Subs

Ordered on app. Picked up a couple minutes early. The condiments had already seeped through the brown paper bag, so I knew the sandwich was going to be bad. Opened it up and the parmesan bread was sopping wet. There was so much mayo & mustard globbed on that I could barely see the rest of the ingredients. The entire sandwich was soaked and couldn’t be picked up without falling apart. A waste of my time and money. Very annoyed.

This has been my second time ordering from this place. Everything is so fresh, And the best part is that they toast the bread, whereas other jersey Mike’s don’t. I forgot to ask the girl her name, but the girl with the long blonde ponytail she’s always polite, respectful and she ask you do you want more onions, more peppers or less etc… Even the person in front of me was a little bit rude in a rush, and she handled the situation very beautifully. But this sandwich, way better than subways!!!

worker seemed like she hated her job. constantly rolling her eyes and giving attitude. we decided to keep it short and respect someone might not be having a good day. but no one is forcing you to work there if its too much of a hassle. its simply respect and professionalism. another customer walked in as our sandwiches were being made… the worker stared the other customer up and down and continued to grunt and roll her eyes. she wasnt the only one working and it was pretty empty. she didnt know how to be professional or know how to do her job correctly. asked me and my friend if we were paying for our sandwiches and we provided the free sub card and she goes “ Oh that. “… her coworker says repeatedly, “ take it take the card take it from them “ then continues to snatch it out of our hands

I come there almost every weekend and all of a sudden had a bad experience with a worker talking to a person WHO WAS NOT BUYING ANYTHING MEANWHILE IM WAITING FOR MY FOOD THAT I PURCHASED. 1/16/2026 at 5:43pm my food was supposed to be ready but the worker that was making the food, decided to talk to a customer WHO WAS NOT AT ALLL BUYING ANYTHING. Easily could have messed up the order. I waited additional 15+ minutes after when my food was supposed to be ready. The young girl kept going slow and not even paying attention while talking when the order was not even completed. I asked for a SMALL CUP of Sauce and Gave me a bad attitude for no reason when I asked nicely. She did not like that I INTERUPTED her important conversation with a person who is NOT BUYING ANYTHING. I had to share my experience at the Jersey Mike’s in West Caldwell. The place is super clean, the food is fresh, and the staff is genuinely kind and quick. The manager, Tom, is what really makes this location stand out. He greets everyone like you’re walking into his own home and you can tell he truly cares about the store and his team. He communicates well, keeps things running smoothly, and has the respect of both staff and customers. It’s refreshing to see a manager who goes above and beyond. I’ll definitely keep coming back, and I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
