Jersey Mike's Subs

I used to love J.Mikes back in the early 2000's but as usual as popularity grows quality slips. Never fails. Especially when businesses branch out to the south. Nonetheless after a 10-15 year hiatus I stopped by this S.L location. Service was nice, my order was prepared promptly and the sandwich was ok. Still not quite the J.Mikes I remember but before I spend another dime on a philly steak from Army City I will spend a quarter at J. Mikes.

They welcomed me into the store and immediately "Jennifer" asked "How could she help me". I told her my order, and she asked additional questions to make sure she got my order, right. Her Smile is amazing (Just a hint Smile way more, it lights the place up)! She was great and she cared about getting my order Right!! Now, comes in "Jason", he came from the back and changed his gloves (I love that because you don't know what else they were doing prior to coming out of the back etc.). The Sandwich They Gave Me Could Have Gotten Very Sick Or Worse! I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding a recent experience at this Spring Lake location Jersey Mike’s location. As someone with a mayonnaise allergy, I always order the #13 Mikes Way, which does not include mayonnaise in their “Mike's Way” subs. I've been a loyal customer of Jersey Mike's for years, usually visiting the Aberdeen, NC store without issue. During my recent visit to the Spring Lake store, I explicitly stated my preference for no mayonnaise and requested “Mikes Way” like I have done many times at other Jersey Mike’s locations. Love the subs with the Rosemary Parm bread! Management knows customer service is a priority and that meet the mark. Thank you for sustaining a quality standard for food and service for years!

I would have given the food rating a 5 star if I liked the bread. It's a texture thing for me. The bread is like subway's bread, imo, it's tough. I love sandwiches, so the bread has to be fresh, toasty outside, and soft inside for my liking. My husband, on the other hand, loved it. Everything else was delicious and fresh. The staff was friendly and quick.
