Jersey Mike's Subs

So happy to have Jersey Mike's in Cabot. I had never been to one before, but obviously didn't know what I was missing. I have been 3 different times in a 3 week period because it is so good and so easy. I have had the Club Sub (my favorite), The California Sub and one of the roast beef sandwiches. All had the freshest veggie(no brown lettuce here). One of the pictures is of the Mike's Philly which my husband tried. He loved it. I have stopped in and ordered to go and it was less than 5 minutes before I was out the door. Now I order online so that I can earn my points for free sandwiches. I love the to go bags with the handles that the food comes in. The service is awesome, especially for a brand new business.

Today, I asked for my giant to be wrapped in 2 halves. I was told no, the paper costs are worked into the cost of each sandwich and they would not wrap my sandwich in 2 manageable wrappers. The cost of paper? Come on. Oh, then they put my giant sandwich in a huge paper bag. Maybe skip the bag and wrap the sandwich the way I asked you too. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great location. Workers are always friendly and do a good job of getting the order right without a huge wait. My only “complaint” I have (about every location I’ve been to) is the seating area is tiny. Uncomfortable, really. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could.

So we decided to give this place a try, since it has just opened in our town and neither one of us has ever eaten here before. So we went in with a little bit of anxiousness. And I have to say that the staff was so helpful. Like I said we have never been here before so we didn't know what we wanted to try and the folks behind the counter gave us some great suggestions, by asking us questions on what we like and dislike. so it made the decision making process a whole lot easier. the ability to watch them make the sandwich right in front of you also helps because you get to tell them "a little more of this" or a "little less of that". They even offered to Spin the Wheel and let it decide on what we should order, but I was a little afraid of doing that this time.. lol.. the sandwiches tha

Went in today and got a small Chx Philly. The sand probably had about 4oz of chicken. It was just all bread. Speaking of the bread, they were advertising Udi's bread on the window and the sneeze guard. So I ask for it. No mention in the entire restaurant that there was a $2 up charge. $17 for a sandwich with no meat in it and a bag of chips is completely disappointing.
