Best Italian hot dogs ever!!! I grew up eating Jersey Joe's. The original owner had long past, but his son has carried on. Jersey Joe's has been a summer time staple in the area for over 50 years. Great location, right across from the Spy House Museum and beach. Be fore warned their Italian hot dogs are highly addictive, but Joe's is only open seasonally.

I've been in search for the perfect hotdog for years now I've been hitting hot dog stands for about 35 years and today I found UTOPIA ! I had the single and should have had the double. What a sandwich, peppers onions potatoes done beautiful with this hotdog. The bread was a large loaf circular and cut into fours and then sliced open to accommodate the food , there are a lot of good hotdog places out there but this right now tops my list.

A hidden gem for sure. I’ve known about this place since I was a little kid. My dad loved Italian Hot Dogs and back in the day the only place to get them was a food truck in Hazlet called Big Berthas. They closed and luckily a family friend told my dad about Jersey Joes. It’s tucked away in plain sight by the Spy House. They do an outstanding job with their Italian Hot Dogs and Sausage sandwiches. The onions, peppers and potatoes are crispy, the pizza bread is soft and fluffy, and the hot dogs have an great snap. My only criticism (minor) and all of the places do this - I wish they would layer the hotdogs. So hot dog, peppers, onions, potatoes then hot dog POP. I sure do miss this place.

It has been a few years since I've gone here. there know for there Italian hot dogs & sausage ( single or double ). There pork roll, egg, & cheese were very good. I ordered a steak, egg, & cheese was good. They have a lot of pictures of the area, signage, & also cookie jars. Just remember they are closed Monday & Tuesday.

My Second Vist was Better Than the First ! I had Breakfast this Morning so I was Extera HUNGRY ! AND I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED 👍👍👍 ALWAYS FRESH ALWAYS EXCELLENT !!! JERSEY JOE'S AIMS TO PLEASE !! 👍👍😘
