Jerk An Tingz

I’m so late in writing this review however I came in January 9th and back again on the 12th for snapper and cabbage. The escovich snapper on the 9th was pretty good but the brown stew that I ordered on the 12 was out of this world. These visits were not my for this restaurant as everything I’ve had has been delicious in general. This was my first time ordering escovich and brown stew from them lol 😋. I know I’m picky when it comes to escovich and the picky test was passed. The flavors were emasculate. Now when I returned to get more on the 12th it was late ( right before closing) and they were out of some ingredients which is understandable so I changed to the brown stew snapper with cabbage….that snapper was seasoned to perfection!!!! Hats off to the chef and everyone there that night! T

let me tell you...gret food and great portions. I got the jerk chicken with peas and carrot with beans and rice yesterday, and im STILL eating it today. This food is so delicious. it has that homey feel to it without being too heavy. Also the plantains are amazing they have a slight crisp to them which makes them go mperfect with the meal. Next time i will try with BBQ sauce

As a Panamanian woman who genuinely enjoys Caribbean food, I usually love supporting local Caribbean vendors especially at festivals because I know how much effort goes into these events. But when you’re charging a 4star price, quality and care should very much match. Unfortunately this meal missed the mark entirely. The jerk chicken had feathers still on it, the flavor was very flat, and nothing about the plate justified the $45 cost including a drink. It was so unappetizing that I ended up throwing it away. I was extremely disappointed with this meal. So to reiterate my experienced I found feathers still on the jerk chicken which is absolutely unacceptable. Every piece of cut up meat barely had chicken. You could literally taste the old oil in the fried plantains and fried festival. The

My mom told me about this place and I was very disappointed to leave with ONLYa patty. However, the service was amazingly good and I will try to return at some point in hopes I can my review to 4/5 stars. My experience was disappointing because everything I asked for on my visit, either they didn’t have or would have taken 45 minutes to be ready. I was told it was best to call in advance to make sure they have what I’m wanting and to give time for any items that needed to be prepared. Needless to say, I had my mouth fixed on some good eating that day but left with a veggie patty. 😩

I go there for breakfast which is freshly made and amazing. The jerk chicken meal is good as well...rice and peas is top tier. Friendly and courteous service even when busy. This place gets a steady lunch crowd and their natural juices sell quickly. Would highly recommend. Tried the seamoss and soursop juice today. Will definitely try again.
