Jenovelle

Jenovelle is my new favorite place to take friends for a quiet and elegant lunch. You must start with your own pot of hot tea (many to choose from but we got Earl Grey) and they brought honey too, along with a set up to keep the tea warm. They have a great soup & salad offering. I usually get their French Onion soup (Blue Ribbon Grill fav). As for salad I like the Bulgarian salad of romaine, olives, cubed tomatoes featuring a very light dressing it is wonderful. I usually eat half of the soup and half of the salad because I want to have one of their French Macarons!

We had a corporate event at Jenovelle celebrating the food and wine of Portugal. The service was exceptional from the beginning to the end and the food was good too. The team took great care of our group and we had great feedback from the attendees. I highly recommend them!

Went to Jenovelle cafe in Chamblee today and had a wonderful lunch - quiche and croque monsieur were heavenly. Lots of gruyere cheese and bechamel sauce - no ordinary grilled cheese sandwich! I’m a tea purist and the Earl Grey was pefectly steeped and hot. The cafe is charming in a very unassuming strip-mall but don’t be put off by that. Menu specials feature other European fare - French, Italian, Hungarian, others. Owners are very hands-on so the food and service are great. We’ll be back.

I ate the smoked salmon sandwich, my husband had the Belgian waffle. Both were delicious! We took home tiramisu and chocolate marquise cake for dessert. Excellent!

Lunch at Jenovelle, The European Cafe ,was a refreshing delight! A different flavor , to the area, in more ways than one. I tried the Chicken Salad- Scrumptious with generous portions. The owner, Jennifer Greene, though busy, even found time to stop by my table, to make sure everything was okay! There's even a gift shop, stocked with items of European origin. I wouldn't know where to find items like these elsewhere in Atlanta! I definitely plan on coming back soon!
