Stopping for a brief visit to renew a food handler's card, I was quickly redirected to the county's website to complete the process. While this was a little inconvenient since I had already made the trip to visit in-person, it was helpful to learn for future needs. While here, staff was very helpful and friendly.
When will the jefferson county health department resume inspecting places that prepare food? Your website lists a single inspection done in april of 2017. The spirit of jefferson newspaper is indicated as another place to view inspections. Nothing there either. Meanwhile you are allowing this health risk to continue and get worse.
Staff super nice. No real waiting time if you have an appointment.
