I only travel to restaurants and hotels ect... that has good reviews this place had a really good review really good atmosphere but I was totally disappointed with my food. It was horrible my onion rings were soggy no flavor they gave me a ton of fried mushrooms barely any shrimp the jambalaya was dry it was horrible. They had a packed house good singing but my experience was not good probably won't return.

Pretty good place to go as long as you live close by. After the first bite I knew my delicate Irish bowels were gonna be in for a symphony. The centuries of boiled potatoes and cabbage my ancestors prepared me for were no match for the flavor blasted tastes of the Bayou. I got the catfish bites appetizer and Chicken a la Mer. The catfish bites were a little underwhelming, but I enjoyed the main course more. Lots of flavor but my only complaint was it seemed like it was completely prepared in advance. Wasn’t as warm as I hoped and came out fast-like REALLY fast. Too fast to have not cooked the chicken in advance. The live music was nice and the vibe was great. Overall I would go back if I was really hungry for a lot of food or close by, but I don’t think I’d go especially out of my way to e

An absolute Vibe!!!! My wife is from New Orleans and will gladly criticize restaurants for there lack of authenticity,taste etc. & she LOVED IT!! When it comes to restaurants outside of Louisiana cooking simular foods... This is hands down one of the best places we have EVER ate at for a down south feel and taste!! I highly recommend this gem..!! Definitely will be going back even with me staying 3 hours away....

Ordered a group meal for a late conference. Ordered a plain burger with note “ONLY MEAT ON THE BUN!!” and it came with cheese on the burger. The recipient who has severe food allergies was very disappointed to not have a meal tonight, after narrowly missing certain death. The stuffed mushrooms should have been the item left behind. The caps were filled with a ball of disgusting mush. It’s supposed to be seafood but tasted like uncooked flour. Seafood fettuccine and catfish nuggets were passable. Shrimp po’boy, hush puppies, fried pickles were alright. The manager recommended ordering directly from the restaurant next time so they can make direct refunds and have more control. But I don’t think there will be future orders.

Today we literally drove 200 miles just for lunch. We started with the catfish bites that had a nice breading(didn’t get a pic we ate them pretty quick). For our lunch husband got his usual 12 Voodoo Wings with a side of fries and I decided to try something different from my usual pasta and got the Blackened Catfish Po’Boy with coleslaw and hush puppies. Everything was wonderful as it always has been every time we’ve eaten here. I don’t recall our waitress name but she was very pleasant and did a great job. Can’t wait to make it back again.
