I came into Jason’s Deli expecting a normal meal. A sandwich, maybe a pickle, perhaps a respectable side dish. What I did not expect was to have a life-altering spiritual experience with the chicharrones. Let me be clear: the chicharrones here are not just good. They are dangerously good. I’m talking “you tell yourself you’ll have one… and suddenly the bag is empty and you’re staring into the distance wondering what just happened” good. Crunch level? Elite. Flavor? Illegal in at least 12 countries, probably. Emotional impact? I’m considering writing them into my will. The first bite was so perfectly crispy that I actually paused mid-chew just to respect it. I got take out and it came pretty quick. Food was still hot and the quantity of meat was more than I expected. I def had left overs. They listened to instructions also. I was very happy with my order.

Great food but gotta be careful with some cashier they charge more ($17 for a medium plate 🤯)

This food tastes like mold, you know the taste, the server was miserable and had a shitty attitude, the gave me stake mixed with liver. I had it once before but this last few times it has become so disgusting. I spent $18, got fed, but it’s garbage nonetheless, be safe, please avoid it.

The food at this deli is pretty good — fresh sandwiches, good portions, and friendly staff. One thing I noticed, though, is that the prices don’t always seem consistent. It might depend on who’s working or what time you go, so it’s worth double-checking before you pay. It definitely feels like a mostly Spanish spot, which isn’t a bad thing — the culture and music give it a nice vibe. Still, I think they could make it feel a little more welcoming for everyone, no matter your background. It’s the kind of place that could really bring people together if they added a few small touches to make all customers — Black, white, Latino, or anyone — feel equally comfortable. Overall, I’d go back for the food, but I hope they tighten up the pricing and make it a bit more inviting for all kinds of peo
