Japanese Tea House — NAU

This is not an actual tea house. They don’t serve tea. It’s an interesting thing that you can find on NAU campus. You can’t go inside, but it’s pretty peaceful there until the ceramics faculty start asking you what you are doing there. It’s a neat idea that’s just sitting idle and never gets used.

Their oolong is great! But I had a problem with service since no one works here and also they don't serve tea. I ended up bringing my own and sitting there alone. Well I might not have been alone since there was some rustling outside which sounded like a skunk. Would recommend!

This is a wonderful Tea House - built only for traditional Japanese Tea Ceremonies. If you search online for me you can reach me and I can schedule a time to view the interior if interested.

It’s a shame that it looks like it isn’t used much if at all but it’s a nice structured building that’s on the corner of the campus that most people going to NAU will never find.
