Starlight Pines Bed & Breakfast

Prepare to feel totally pampered when staying here. The rooms are delightful and have wonderful ambiance, one with a wood-burning fireplace and another with an electric fireplace. The beds are very comfortable and have the most luxuriously soft sheets. The rooms have the quaintness of olden times, with a claw foot bathtub and Tiffany lamps, but with all the modern amenities. The breakfasts are delicious and there are always freshly baked cookies and chocolate candies available to satisfy your sweet tooth. Max and Monica are great hosts and make everyone feel at home and truly spoiled.

I booked this house as a place to stay before a Grand Canyon Rafting trip. I missed some email updates regarding payment of the second deposit. Dispiste contacting Airbnb and immediatly paying the full amount of the rental I lost my deposit. ||I was given a token amount of my inital deposit dispite the terms stating that 50% was returnable. Airbnb customer services and Evolve were of no use. The owner does not care. Only the cleaner seems to work. (Ana was really nice).||I assumed that by completing the booking the owner would deal with me fairly. They did not. I will not use Airbnb in the US again. ||I say again, stay away from this property.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Starlight Pines! The owners were so friendly and accommodating, had great suggestions for local things to do, and prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we could have wished for. It even had a shaded balcony which was great for relaxing and taking in the view. The common area downstairs was very cosy and great to sit and read in. We had to leave very early in the morning on our last day, so Maxx very thoughtfully prepared a delicious breakfast to go for us. We will definitely stay here if we are ever in Flagstaff again!

Wow, this place is amazing! This is by far the best service I have ever experienced at any place I've stayed, and the room was clean, wonderfully appointed, and comfortable. We were welcomed with freshly baked cookies (gluten free for my husband!), provided with numerous dining recommendations, and shown around. The room was so comfortable that my husband and I opted to stay in all evening and have a romantic dinner at the table in our room with the fresh flowers that were in our "Lilly" room. My favorite part about the stay was the early morning room service of coffee and pastries that preceded breakfast, but breakfast was astounding in its own right! Custom souffles to meet our dietary restrictions, parfaits, and copious amounts of coffee were promptly served as we chatted with other gue

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. First, the hosts Maxx & Monica were the nicest owners we have ever experienced in our 50+ years of traveling. They were friendly, attentive, and informative. Second, the accommodations were first class for a very reasonable price. This included not only our room but a lovely front porch where we not only had our breakfast, but also just sat outside in the afternoon and evening . Third, the breakfasts that Maxx made were different every day and delicious and very filling. Finally, I left my wedding ring in the bathroom the morning we left and Maxx texted me within an hour that he had found it and was mailing it to my home. What great service.
