Jang Su Jang in Alpharetta, right next to the Hamilton Hotel, was a wonderful experience. The grilled mackerel was moist, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. It was tasty, delicious, and honestly one of the standout dishes of the meal. The bibimbap was amazing as well, fresh, satisfying, and packed with great flavor in every bite. The pork cutlet was also excellent, crispy, flavorful, and packaged nicely. Everything was prepared with care, and the quality really showed. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you are in the area and craving great Korean food.
Our family has mostly visited Jang Su Jang in Duluth, so this was our first time trying the Alpharetta location. When we used to go to the Duluth Jang Su Jang nearly ten years ago, it was mainly for comforting dishes like Soondoobu, something very affordable and casual. The Alpharetta Jang Su Jang felt quite different. It’s located inside a hotel, and the atmosphere is much more upscale. Because of that, the prices are not cheap, and the overall vibe is more polished than what we were used to. It truly felt like a different version of Jang Su Jang. The food was very good, and the service was also excellent. Everything was well prepared, and the staff was attentive. However, as Korean visitors coming from out of state, it felt a bit distant from the Korean community, which makes it less lik
This restaurant has a very warm vibe and I found my new fav Korean spot, the service is on point. I ordered Rice cakes with Fish and shrimp, it was spot on. They also have variety of condiments which are so tasty. A must visit!
First time at this location, and it’s just as good as the original in Duluth. The interior feels modern but still has that Korean restaurant vibe—big screen playing K-pop MVs and all. I went with the classic combo: tofu soup with BBQ short rib, which never disappoints. The seafood pancake was solid as always, and the pork belly with all the banchan was also very good. Definitely would go back if I visit downtown Alpharetta
We have been here several times, and food and service have always been great. Our favorite dishes here are stir fried squid, beef short ribs, and seafood noodle soup. They serve great mixed rice in a clay pot and grilled mackerel as well. Very friendly service. Highly recommended for authenticity and excellent taste.
