Decided to try a new-to-me place. So glad I did! Everything was just so delicious! Had the Jerk Chicken and the Catfish platters. Both quite tasty! Also tried the Jerk Chicken quesadilla! It’s 1000% better than it sounds. Exquisite. Mouthwatering. Best quesadilla I’ve ever had! So stop in and give them a try! You won’t be disappointed.
Ordered the jerk chicken combo, fried chicken combo, chicken and waffle (expect to pay $3 more for an enhanced waffle such as caramel), macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, cabbage, and rice and red beans. It was pricey for dinner. Expect to pay $20 per meal. I would recommend lunch pricing or sharing a meal at dinner to save on costs since the dinner portions are a tad pricey. Three people, no drinks and around $70 for all combo plates. Good service, somewhat slow but hey you're getting Caribbean/ soul food and the grill takes time!
Just like the beautiful island of Jamaica. The staff are so friendly and talkative to patrons. The food is so delicious and takes me back to my trip in Jamaica. A must for all Tucsonans to come and eat. Highly recommend. I’ll be back for more
“Came back to visit again after half a year. The food is just as good as always, and I was surprised to see so many waffle flavors this time. The banana pudding was amazing. The prices are still super affordable — really glad they’re back!
Food: I had the curry goat, it was solid. The flavors were there. I just kinda wish there was some marrow to suck out of the bones. I suppose D's Island Grill had me spoiled there. The seafood pasta side had like one bit of fake crab and that's it. My wife is vegetarian, the lady on staff was happy to give her larger sides to make for a better meal. She had the kale salad and the cabbage. The kale salad didn't have any carribean flair - something I'd expect from Whole Foods. The cabbage was good though and had quite a pleasant kick. Service: Personable but stretched way too thin. Poor lady was running everything herself. Seems like the men of the establishment just didn't give a crap. She mentioned they were away at some event. Atmosphere: actually kinda cute. The space was bright, open
