Jacks Meats & Deli

This is the second time that we’ve ordered from here since the new ownership. I was excited to try the Halal it was Meh. The real reason why I’m posting is because I wanted to give this place a second go around. The first time we ordered I ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger and I’m not sure what they sent but it had mayonnaise and some sort of red sauce on it and my son is allergic. He’s a teenage boy and he was very upset because he was hungry.He wanted to try it again and gave him the benefit of the doubt. Again ordered, bacon cheeseburger, plain lettuce, and cheese only. These are the pictures of his burger that we took this time because we didn’t last time.

This food is fresh. Has reasonable prices and taste good to top it off.

I’m writing to make you aware of an absolutely horrible experience I had at Jack’s meat and deli. I went into the deli on Saturday, November 22 to purchase three tuna sandwiches on a roll and a bag of potato chips that three of us could share. There was one young man behind the deli counter, wearing headphones. He appeared to be somewhat substance intoxicated. There was no welcome, no smile, no warm greeting, in fact, he appeared annoyed that I came into the deli. I ordered three tuna sandwiches on a roll with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise: two with Swiss cheese and one without cheese. The individual asked me at least three times to repeat my order. Satisfied at last that he knew what to prepare, I grabbed a bag of regular family style potato chips, and waited at the register to pay for t

We were regular customers at the previous iteration of Jack’s Meats. It was well-loved establishment in the village for years. However, since it was sold to the new owners, we have tried it a couple of times and the quality and the service are just not up to par.
