Jack's Family Restaurant

Went to Jacks in Wetumpka and from the moment I was greeted at the drive through I felt welcomed. I pulled up to the window and was met with Ms. Dakota. She was so kind and warming and smiled the whole time. I told her that literally was the best service I have ever had to Jacks there. She told me she’s only been there for 6 months. She is doing an absolutely wonderful job with the customer service and I got my food fresh and hot within mins. Very lovely lady.

Traveling from Atlanta we stopped at Jacks Family Restaurant in Wetumpka Alabama and ate lunch there on Saturday 12/21/25. We ordered the family fried chicken meal. The chicken was absolutely the best fried chicken we had ever eaten. They cook the chicken in small batches so it’s so fresh every time you order it. The pieces were big and very juicy and flavorful. The biscuits were perfect and the coleslaw was cold and delicious. The staff was very nice and welcoming even the gentleman frying the chicken said welcome to us. The eating area of the restaurant was pristine clean. The restrooms were spotless clean. You just don’t get this type of service anywhere anymore like my family and I received here. Stopped here at the location in Wetumpka Al and it was good. I’ve only been to Jacks a handful of times and each times I’m please with my order. The fries are always juicy and hot. It’s sitting in a nice location as well .. I’ll definitely be back in the near future

Do not go here. We had to wait way too long for food that was already made plus like 15 minutes just for drinks. In addition to this, the bathrooms smelled awful like they hadn’t been cleaned, the dining room area looked unclean as well. The entire staff was playing around and couldn’t keep up with simple orders. I’ve never had such a bad experience at any other fast food location.

I wanted to say that I came to jacks on the 22nd around 3-4pm & the lady working in the front was the sweetest & most patient woman I’ve ever seen for fast food. Everyone is so sweet & everything is explained so well. There was a man that was curious about some items on the menu & she was not rude at all, she was very understanding & nice. The food is always great when I come as well!
