Jack in the Box

They are getting there. The move of JitB back into illinos is nice to see. It is however hitting supply chain hiccups and new service getting-up-to speed. I stopped in for my childhood favorite Tacos. They had none. Ok, there was a sign the warehouse was out all around. Not this restarants fault, that was corporate. So I asked to try the new egg rolls. They were out. Ok. How about the mini-tacos? That they had. So tried them and a side of curly fries. It was OK, but corporate should of known better than to not plan enough for the fan favorite Tacos. Place looked new and clean enough. So will try again in time to see about the Tacos and adjust rating.

I've wanted to try this new Jack in the Box. Thought I'd wait a couple of months to make sure they're up and running. Sad to say my experience on this Saturday afternoon was not up to my expectations. Fast food it's NOT! Ordered from kiosk. Receipt presented was blank. Waited and waited. Spoke to others waiting. To their experience the long wait is normal. Asked the young woman behind the counter about my order after watching a person who came in after me get their order before me. Received an apology that my order was coming up next (after a 20+ minute wait). Ordered 2 tacos and a southwest chicken salad combo. The salad combo comes with fries which is weird! The tacos were filled mostly with shredded lettuce... salad looked awful but was okay. Fries were not hot. No ice in the drink dis

JITB just moved in to the neighborhood, not sure how long and decided to go. Haven’t been to one since I was a little kid. Figured I’d try it. I get there and it’s a mad house. Drive thru wrapped around the building so decided to park and go in. The entire space seems way too small. Go in and there’s trash everywhere. The inside was also really small and super crowded. Ordered on the kiosk just a simple grilled ckn on sourdough and large fries then waited and waited. Took 8 min for it. Get home and fries were only half full, couldn’t see any fries over the lower lip. Opened the ckn sandwich and it was on just a basic bun, not the sourdough. Food was just avg. Overall have zero interest in going back. To top it all off, due to how small the parking lot is and how busy the drive thru was it

Long time Jack fan, but for this one being a few weeks old I expected much more for a welcome back to Il. Didn't see Jack anywhere 😔 40min. wait for 8 tacos and 1 fry, not hot, not enough meat inside, many people upset waiting on orders. Seemed the employees never worked in fast food restaurants before. (?) There wasn't any manners of welcome, enjoy your meal, a small drink or fry on us, sorry for the wait. We were happy to hear they were coming back to Chicago so we will give it another try and see if any improvement in a few weeks. (Wish they still had the Monster tacos!!)

It was prime lunchtime on a Saturday afternoon. One of the self-checkout kiosks was not working. There was no sign on it. Only good Samaritans were telling each other. The wait time for "fast" food was anything but fast. Many customers had been waiting over 20 minutes for food, ourselves included. Completely unacceptable. When customers approached the staff about the status of their order, they were met with attitude. This is the first Jack in the Box location in the area and it could very well be the last if service continues like this.
