I Have a Bean

We at The Compass Church in Wheaton have been serving our members and visitors with coffee from I Have a Bean for many years, and we are very satisfied with the quality and taste of their coffee. There’s only a small handful of local roasters around here, and we’re lucky to have one this good. They sell true 1-lb bags instead of the typical 12-oz format most roast-and-ship places use, which makes them an even better value for single-origin specialty coffee. I’ve tried their Java, espresso blend, and cold brew—every one of them superb. On my visit, they also offered a free cup of their Costa Rican roast, which was outstanding. The beans are as fresh as you’ll find anywhere. Highly recommended.

I’ve been ordering from I Have a Bean for years because both the coffee and service are exceptional. I recently placed an order that had coffee for myself and some gifts. I sent an email asking if they could be customized with the recipients name, and I just unboxed and saw that they are personalized! I’m excited to share with others and have that little personal touch thanks to the Bean Team!

I have always found the staff to be exceptionally friendly, and willing to take the take to talk. My wife and I feel that their coffees are some of the best we have had. And their decaf is exceptional. We can't tell the difference between their decaf and regular.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff! I had a cup of coffee offered for free when I came in to get a bag of coffee beans and it was delightful! I am very excited to try making coffee with the beans I purchased!
