JA Buffet

Our first time trying this buffet. I certainly did not my eat $19.00 of food, therefore my 4 star rating for food. The lunch price goes up to the dinner price starting at 2:30pm on Sat & Sun. (4 adults with 4 sodas was $80.52, the dinner price). I enjoyed the miniature pierogis. Standard Chinese & American choices like Mac n cheese, fries, and pizza, if the kids prefer. Carrot cake, jello, and ice cream for dessert.

Just horrible!!!!! The owners should be ashamed of themselves. Have to pay before eating. Walk back to realize that you have the option of shrimp with legs still attached, fish carcass floating in water, mashed potatoes with crust. There’s pizza there because everyone wants to go to Chinese restaurant for pizza… yeah bad idea!!!! Just disgusting board of health should shut the place down!!!

Edit: went back yesterday and it was TERRIBLE, I'll never go back. I guarantee you every piece of food on the buffet had been there since lunch time and it was 6:00 p.m. Please don't eat here without checking the food. Three stars, because I've come here and the food has been pretty decent (today at lunch it was solid). But I've come here and the food has been absolutely trash, without a doubt the worst buffet I had ever eaten at. I would recommend going in and taking a look at the food before paying and sitting down.

This is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. I went here with my girlfriend, and things started off as normal with buffets, pay before you eat etc, we even tipped prior. Got seated, then ordered drinks, and make our way to the food selection, everything looked okay for the most part. HOWEVER don’t be fooled. The sushi rice, hard as a rock, the avocado was black. Her salmon that was “baked” was bad, sour and she couldn’t even eat any of it, same for the shrimp. I had went what I figured would be the safe route and got sweet and sour chicken, with sauce, lo mien, pork fried rice, grilled potatoes, and cheese wontons. The S&S chicken was stale and hard, lo mien tasted like it had been out and was starting to turn bad, the pork fried rice was hard, potatoes where fine, and the won

Arrived at 9 closed at 10 Food was dried out and disgusting, looked like it hadn’t been stirred for hours. Refused to make sushi had 3 pieces out at the buffet and said they were cleaning up and refused to make me anything. Got a refund and they talked shit in Chinese the entire time we were there. I have translation headphones and heard everything. I worked in the restaurant business for 16 years. The hostess was very nice. Only good thing about the place. Won’t be going back ever again.
