This is a must stop here while in or passing thru West Union, Ohio. I had the melt in your mouth brisket with fried mushrooms and onion rings. Awesome! Michelle behind the counter was efficient and friendly. Outdoor dine in only. Call in carryout is available. This place is always busy.

Oh my word, who would have thought a tiny little building could put out such big flavor!? We were visiting from Michigan and I was on my way to Walmart and I seen the little building with a sign saying rib dinner $12. So I thought on my way back, I'll just grab a bite to eat and I won't have to cook later at the Airbnb. Just walking up to the stairs I could smell the flavor. And I have such a large selection of side dishes. So I got my rib dinner went to the car opened up the tray and the smell of barbecue 😋 I have been to a lot of barbecue places, both top and low dollar. This one beats all of them! And I will tell you another thing the next time I come back to this area I'm definitely getting me a meat platter! So if you decide to stop and visit, my recommendation is the rib dinner with

I absolutely love JT’s! I just called in an order for my family which I called in a few different dinner platters tonight and everything was perfect which is so nice after getting home to eat together! The plates were made with very very generous portions (definitely get your moneys worth and then some!) included napkins and forks and absolutely delicious. Oh! & it was nice and warm even out in this 30 degree weather and I appreciate that! I genuinely appreciate having this place here at home and truly highly recommend them and their food of any kind for a nice warm meal!

They weren’t open when it says they should be. That’s fine as they need to produce on demand for their area , but then I’d expect them to have the time reflect the possible close as I don’t know since I am not a local. Too bad onwards I go.

I'm an Eastern NC man, definitely a little picky about my barbecue. I saw this place on the side of the road in West Union but never had time to stop until just the other day. Couldn't believe it when I saw they had Brunswick stew. So I had to get some of that and a barbecue sandwich. It was great, if you haven't tried their food you should definitely stop by and get something.
