The food is good. The lady that works there. The short one is extremely rude with an attitude. If you don’t like your job find another one if going back-and-forth is getting you angry and you put your frustration out on me. Find someone else to do your job I’m never going here ever again. She’s so rude her Customer Service was terrible today ( for you to own the place) you can’t get mad because you have to go back-and-forth if I forgot to tell you, I didn’t want plantains. Why are you getting upset? Yelling at me in front of your other customers because I did not want no plaintains. Every time I come there U tell you i don’t want it it’s hard and nasty. I recently brought a plate of legume for my mother 12/31/25 . She woke up the next day with stomachaches. I brought some food from them a week ago I got stomachache and diarrhea, I wasn’t sure if it was JJ Gourmet now I can confirmed it’s the food from this place . There’s something going on with the food . The prices are HIGH 14 dollars for a small plate of griot. It’s like everyday the price is always different.

All I could say is the food was delicious. I had the fried Griot and black rice and it did not disappoint. The griot was not hard like most places. Understand this is a takeout spot, good food to go! My plate was only $10.70 🤫

foods good 8/10 but the service was bad . best if you call your order in … even then you’d still be waiting. the workers are rude , dont even acknowledge you or anything ..

They lost a customer just by a conversation over the phone. The person I spoke with was very rude and disgusting they don’t know how to talk to customers at all. Customer service is everything. I decided to not pour my money into this establishment
