J J Fish & Chicken

Being from Chicago we already knew Jj’s was going to have good chicken. Walking in the smell was unpleasant like dirty mop water yet the floor did not appear clean. It’s an older building so it needs repairs and maintenance, not a big deal. We were hungry and the other chicken spot we went to first had issues. The woman at the counter was courteous and helpful, I knew the food was going to be good! We ordered chicken and fries with mild sauce and lemon pepper. Our wait time was about 15 minutes. We ate some fries and a piece of chicken until we got home. Once we got home we ate more. I noticed some of the fries looked refried but the chicken looked fine. I really enjoyed this location. They actually give you your money‘s worth of what you order and much more. I always get more than I want with the food and it’s always fresh. I actually like going through the drive-through more than going inside the building if you go inside does it smell very good I don’t know if they have any plumbing issues or what the problem is, but it needs to be a little bit cleaner inside than through the drive-through but overall the customer service experience is nice. The people always go over your order and make sure you get what you ask for and even sometime I get much more. They’re very nice and they usually get your food out in a manageable time and you’re actually not waiting very long. They always reach you with a smile no matter how many customers you have

I come to this place often and today I'm highly disappointed and will never stop again. Customer service means a lot. Bad customer service and badly cooked food, is a disaster of a place. 1. Chicken wasn't cooked properly (asked for fried hard) got some uncooked chicken. 2. For a 10 piece to go into a foam tray, to be smashed down is not cool. Grease on grease. I asked for an up-charge to a foil pan so that my chicken wouldn't be oily or smashed, I was told they only do it for 20 pieces or more, when I offered to pay 5.00 for a foil pan. All in all. I called in, was told 20 min, I know that's not the truth, so I gave them 30min. Food wasn't finished cooking when I arrived. Get home and the food wasn't done. I forget that Sharks is pass the Miller Marker, right at the light. I won't forget

I am from Chicago, but I live in Indiana. The Miller area and when I tell you, I love it here I do, and I will also let you know I love J. J. Fish and chicken, this is my favorite spot to go. They have every thing that I love. Being away from my home town all these years when JJ was put over here in Miller, was the best thing, the food is fresh and great. The people that work there is amazing. They're practically like family💗. Everything is done within a time frame that they tell you👌🏾. And recall the food is so fresh so good and they're so clean with everything. If you need somewhere to go and enjoy some really great food, J.J in Miller is the best shout out to my family!!!! Awesome experience all the way around! Staff is amazing, and the food tastes fantastic! Good value for what you get!!! I get the boneless chicken wings plain because to me they don’t need anything else but everyone tells me the garlic salt is wonderful too!
