Joey's tacos

My mom and I heard about this spot so we decided to check it out. Its a small joint but it has a nice atmosphere and the food was fire!! The food was cooked fresh and you can choose from a Puerto Rican meal type or a Mexican type. We went with the jibarito con arroz y habichuelas and the platano nachos! All of it was delicious, and the quantity of food was very satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a delicious home cooked Puerto Rican meal.

So i saw a young lady on a social media platform advertising this place.. So I decided to give this place a try. As a chef , I to taste all the meats...The chicken, pork, steak & beef.. So I order them all in the form of tacos Scale 1 to 10 I give the steak a 9 I give the chicken a 8 I I give the beef a 7 And I give the pork a 6 The steak had a good season to it. And the pork had a sweet taste to i which was a pork taste that I'm use to Note I ate without any topping or sauce To owner, take bars off front windows to make more inviting... Overall I do recommend this start up Taco place in Gary So everybody, go and support

The rice was amazing! One of the reasons I wanted to come here ASAP! Definitely worth the wait. Pastellilos had cheese in them (never had cheese in them before) and perfectly crispy. Overall, a great experience. Will be a return customer for my Puerto Rican rice cravings! And already recommended to a fellow coworker!

They just open today , food is good , I loved my loaded Tostones , nice staff Definitely recommend them!

I had the Loaded Tostones, Tacos, Puerto Rican rice and a Torta. Everything was delicious, fresh and full of flavor. I didn't have to wait very long for my food either. I have returned several times. I will continue to get food here. Highly recommend 10 out of 10!!!
