Ixtapa The Dalles

Our server was very friendly and quick with our order, and the food was great. I was able to order from the vegetarian menu and it was delicious.

The service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food came out good and hot! Combo plate was great. Crab and shrimp enchilada was great. My carna asada was flavored but, extremely fatty. 1/3 of the meat on my plate was fat!

My daughter l Ioves the tamales here. She always does a pick up order when we're passing through. Update: went on 7/22/25 and pulled a long hair out of my salsa and nobody cared.

We stopped at this restaurant randomly while traveling across the country. We got off freeway exit to eat somewhere else and seen this place instead. It was so worth it. The best street tacos we ever had. Great take out service, dining room was beautiful and clean. FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!

Driving through the down. We called a couple of minutes before closing (9pm) in attempt to place a pick up order (we were across the street at the market). We didn’t realized almost everything in town closed at 9pm.. Rubi answered the phone; she was super friendly and said they were still open and could eat there. Excellent news for us. She provided great food recommendations. The molcajete was delicious!!! Oh and the horchata was sooo good. The rest of the staff were nice too. The bathrooms were super clean. We will definitely be stopping by if we’re around the area again. :)
