Ivar's Seafood Bar

Visited in June…and I was blown away! Súper fresh and perfectly seasoned. I’ve read that their clam chowder is great— and that is absolutely correct in this location! We tried their fried shrimp and of course fish and chips. Hot, crispy, not greasy, and yummy! My faves were the clam chowder (and I know my clam chowders coast to coast) and fried shrimp. I would have posted a pic of the clam chowder, but that was devoured. I dream about this meal and wake up saddened since I’m nowhere near this Ivar’s. We will definitely come back again.

Best Fish & Chips this side of somewhere. Nice youngsters running the Joint. If I owned this place I’d definitely rent out half of the Lot to the neighbors lol. Ivars been holding down this spot non Stop for probably 40 years would be my guess!! Without your Employees, there is no Ivars. I mentioned your Staff as well. Thanks

I would eat at ivars throughout both my pregnancies in 2024 & 2025. I miss the no frills, fast food at ivars. Would highly recommend to anyone the cocktail sauce is so sweet it reminds me of a steak sauce back in New York (my birth place) called peter lugars. I wish I hadn't returned to new York, my kids wouldn't have been abducted and I'd be sitting in Ivar's eating the fried clams.

I went 5 years without eating eating Ivar's. My closest fish and chips was from a gas station. No joke I lived in a town of 100 people. And when my wife noticed Green River one of my favorite sodas she asked the cashier if she could buy all of them and he said okay and that made our day even better.

Service was Amazing. We got seated right away, with a nice water view. I ordered the Fish and chips, it came in a Great portion size, and it tastes amazing. Overall this is a great restaurant to go to after a long day of being outdoors.
