So, I’m basing this on my friends take (they adore this place and say it’s the closest to the real thing they’ve had) So of course I had to try it. It’s a cute little place where you get to choose your proteins and sides AND you can even try a few to see which you like. I had the creamy scallops with sushi rice and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and I tried a few bites of my friend’s Tuna and wow everything tasted amazing, I probably should have gotten some sort of veggie to break up the creaminess of everything that I ordered, just something to consider. I am not a huge fan of poke and I can say I’m very glad I tried this place
The poke bowls tasted great! We ordered two large size bowls and it was good amount for three people. Medium and large size bowls contain two choices and one side, and small size bowls have one choice and one side. So with two large size bowls we got to try four choices including salmon, tuna, hamachi and tako, and two sides including seaweed salad and krab salads. The seafood choices all tasted fresh with great seasonings. Our favorite was hamachi. Also the base options are rice, green salad and rice/salad combined. The portions were big. There are also six sauce options. But the sauce was not necessary for us because the flavors were plenty already with all the seafoods and sides. We wish the green salad had no dressing though because it was too salty all together. Service and atmospher
If you wanna to skip the line, suggest calling ahead to plan for your visit, absolutely the best 🔝 poke spot in the greater Seattle area. I generally prefer to have spicy tuna and spicy salmon, sources are quite dense compared to regular just poke chains, also tried coming in for lunch rather than dinner (last time we only had 2 fish available when arriving there for dinner).
First time stopping in! We shared a large poke bowl. Rice and salad mix. Albacore and spicy ahi. Cucumber kimchi and Mac salad sides. Really, really good. They have chili pepper water, too! Plenty of seating inside, sweet staff, nice music. A+
I want to preface by saying I never leave reviews, but this place was SO DISAPPOINTING. I’m genuinely so confused how this place got such great reviews. I had heard this was the “best poke place in Seattle”, and I love poke, so I had to give it a try. The Mac salad had zero flavor. It didn’t even have salt or anything. The cucumber “kimchi” also had close to no flavor. The poke itself was okay, but I’ve had much better in Seattle. I personally thought the portions were decent, but for $25, I will absolutely not be returning.
