It's A Jerk Shack

Very small and not the cleanest. The curry shrimp was a little more gelatin textured than expected but flavorful. I love the rice and peas. The Cabbage is also good. Service is quick and pleasant. This is a typical local pick up food joint. Nothing fancy but good food.

The oxtails had a very smooth taste to them. No complaints. The cabbage was also great. Thank you

I enjoy Caribbean food but will never order from here again. Caribbean food should have flavor and spice but what I ordered, wasn't a hit sadly. I ordered oxtails with curry chicken. The food was cold. The rice was undercooked. The curry was just color and tasteless. There was only one piece of chicken. There was 3pieces of oxtails, tasteless, no flavor. The plantains were not sweet. The beef patties tasted rough and sticky. Extra spicy, but still tasted plain. The crust tasted stale. I would not recommend those items from the menu.

This place is garbage. I doubt they ever had authentic Jamaican food and they damn sure never been to the islands. This is a poor excuse for Jamaican food and they need to be shutdown for false advertisement. I got the stewed chicken and curry chicken the stewed chicken wasn't stewed at all the curry chicken had no sauce on it and was raw, I threw it out so I can't tell you if it actually has curry seasoning on it. The rice and peas was overcooked and had maybe two peas in it. Plantains tasted like they weren't when they tried to cook them. The beef patty was mediocre I've had better frozen beef patties than this. HORRIBLE! I usually go to island breeze because they are consistent and that's real authentic Jamaican food. I ordered the Curry Chicken for my sister, which honestly left a lot to be desired. The curry chicken had no flavor whatsoever. She did make me try it, and it wasn't the worst, but it also wasn't the best. I went for the Jerk Chicken, which was way better. I also ordered a Jamaican Patty, which I must say was absolutely disgusting. The actual pastry of the patty was not done at all and had no volume as in flaky. You could barely taste the beef, and as you can see in the picture the Patty was very flat This was the second time I've eaten here because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. No doubt this will be the last time I eat here. If I had to rate this place out of 5 stars, they would definitely get 2 out of five.
