Istanbul Restaurant and Bakery

Authentic cuisine and pastries baked to order, we stopped in here for iftar and loved everything we tried. The atmosphere and decor is warm and welcoming. Kudos to the chef.

The food is tasty, the decor is very colorful, the staff is very friedly and accommodating. We ordered a falafel plate, a soup, and a beef shawarma plate (but received the chicken one instead, but it was still delicious 👍🏻😂). A free dirt parking lot across the street (July 2024).

I had an amazing dinner with friends at Istanbul! The customer service was 10/10 and the food and desserts were the best I’ve had in Portland! I will definitely be coming back soon

We had the lamb tikki, curried chicken and the grape leaves. Everything was Delicious!! For dessert we had two types of baklava, both were mouthwateringly scrmpished. We will definitely eat here again.

As a Bangladeshi immigrant I always look for halal food and my fashion is roaming around and go to every other restaurant out there try different dish everytime. Last time I had Grilled Chicken and today I have Qozi. Both of the dishes are so delicious. I think the old gentleman over there he is one of the best halal food maker in The USA. I would give 5 star for both.
