Islip Public Library

Had a wonderful evening on August 20th ,barbecue with Brian Collin’s .. Great demo and delicious food presentation, his sister was very helpful as well. So grateful for the staff for planning all of these cooking demos that I always enjoy and look forward to!!!

First time here and I absolutely loved it! VERY CLEAN and VERY spacious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I noticed there was a kid section and a second floor. It was such a quick visit I didn’t get a chance to tour the entire library. Can’t wait to bring my daughter absolutely loved it!

I absolutely can not say enough about this library and its staff. My children are welcomed with open arms and greeted by name (even my 3 month old!!!!) every time we walk through the door. They are constantly holding special events and programs and go above and beyond when doing so. I am glad that my children and I are a part of this public library and look forward to spending many years to come going here. Thank you to all the staff and people involved!

I recently went on a library trip to Essex CT and had a wonderful time. Laurie and Nancy run these fabulous trips and do a great job at making sure that it’s a fun and stress free day. My friends and I have gone on many of these trips and have always enjoyed them. Thank you to you both and look forward to future trips.
