Island Vibes Authentic Jamaican Jerk Joint

I've been here before but missed out on the oxtail...not today! Ordered the oxtail and it was amazing! The sides were also soooo good. Don't miss that island coleslaw and peas and rice, which may be vegetarian as well! The Island pasta is made with coconut milk in it! Another great food option in town! Go visit Huen, H is silent, and his crew for authentic Jamaican goodness!

I can’t praise this restaurant enough. They are AMAZING. My family and I have tried most of their dishes and they are absolutely delicious. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The Oxtail was Insanely Good😋💯. Don't let the body part fool you 😋 The Jerk Chicken and Ribs were equally insane😋💯 The Cornbread was The Best Cornbread I've ever had. The rice was not bland🤔 it was also yummy 😋 💯 The service was the best I've had in quite a while🙂 Parking is limited and is located in the back. The restaurant sits between the Chinese restaurant and NAPA auto parts on HwyI99. I know where I'll be stopping on my way back from the coast or a picnic at The Forks Park. I do have one question though...Why isn't this place packed, Seriously!🤔 😋😋😋😋😋 outta five 😋

So I have had the joy of eating here often over the late summer of 2024, and was very excited to see them open again. Their food is cooked from scratch, and I have often done their Oxtail, their fish, and recently their Chicken Curry. My 2 favorites are the Chicken Curry, and also the Oxtail. Entree is served with 4 sides and very good sized portions. The sides are Rice and Beans, corn bread, Festival, and a mix veggies all which are great options. The food, the owners, and even the space is very island like. If you have not gotten to eating here you should. This is definitely a nice thing to find here in such a small town!

This place is a gem! If you know the family, you know they put out some flavorful and delicious food. The oxtail is my favorite however you’ve got to try their jerk chicken and their curry chicken. Our little town is so lucky to have this restaurant available. I’ll be back over and over.
