Island Thyme Food Truck

This is a great spot walking distance from glacier lodge. The veggie bowl is vegan and gluten free. I really enjoyed the meal here and ended up eating here twice. The family got the jerk chicken rice bowl and shrimp tempura and they said it was great. Owners are very nice. This place has a few picnic tables outside with corn hole boards. Enough room the kids can run around. Definitely worth a stop.

Island Thyme (because who doesn’t love a good pun?) is easily the best food I had in East Glacier — so good I went back for round two before heading home. Both the chicken and pork island bowls are fire and highly recommend adding shrimp on top. Definitely worth the extra $$. What really stood out was how warm and helpful the staff are — the ENTIRE team remembered my name from several days earlier, which totally blew me away — seriously some of the friendliest service I’ve ever had. The place has a relaxed, social, island-style vibe with reggae music and bright picnic tables, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long hike. Can’t recommend it enough.

Hi from PA!! I know this is your food truck review but I had the pleasure of reading your book “Drifting into the Abyss” while staying at Bear Creek Ranch. Jimmy’s character was so real and likable. The story was a true page turner and gripped me until the end. Highly recommended!! Keep writing!!

Great place to stop to eat! The owners were very kind and the food was delicious. They even had a vegetarian option.
