Y’all, I’m stuffed 🤤 . I’ve been wanting to try this little spot for at least a year now and finally got an opportunity to give it a go tonight. I was initially craving some jerk chicken wings and almost went to BWW, but I’m so glad I didn’t because this place was soooo much better. Richard helped me make some decisions and his recommendations were excellent. I got the ox tail with rice & peas and the cooked cabbage, which had nice big slices of carrots mixed in there too. The ox tail kind of tastes like pot roast and the gravy on top of the rice and mixed with the veggies was phenomenal. I was torn between that entree and the jerk chicken Rasta pasta so I ordered that too. The jerk sauce was on point and the pasta was so saucy, just how I like it. Next time I am going for the shrimp. Drove all the way from NC to get these oxtails. Very good portion sizes. Authentic taste in every bite. From the time we entered the establishment to the time we left we felt the love from the owner and staff. We had a great dining experience. The rum punch drink was simply amazing. We will be traveling back again !!!

So it's more of a carry out type place with some seating available. I ordered the beef patties and jerk chicken salad. The jerk wasn't to spicy which I prefer flavor over spicy and it gave everything it needed to give with flavor. The salad was a good combo with the grapes and strawberries, I would have added some cucumbers. The beef patty was also ok. My homegirl got the Mac and cheese for her toddler of course we all tried it, it was as expected for Mac n cheese from a non soul food spot. She got the curry chicken, cabbage and rice and peas. The cabbage wasn't cut up all the way but she said it was good. It was a steady line of people coming in ordering and to go orders pick up. I did notice while there they began to run out of items. I ordered a large oxtail meal w/cabbage, rice and beans. I had 4 small oxtails and a medium oxtail bone w/ barely no meat on it. The rice and beans had maybe 3 beans with a lot of rice and gravy. All their flavors were decent...but NO MAIN SUBSTANCES, and ALL THIS was $48.00 w/Tip! The cabbage was good. I also got a side jerk chicken snack which was dry, but had a good flavor.
