Island Jamaica Carribean Restaurant

My first visit here and I ordered oxtails with a side of Mac and cheese. My total came to $23 for a small. The food was hot and there were about 3 ox tails with my rice. It was kinda bland but it was tender. The Mac and cheese was very different and honestly I couldn’t tell you what kind of cheese was use.

First time eating here but if certainly won’t be my last. I came here because I had a taste for Jamaican cuisine and this place did not disappoint. Normally Jamaican restaurant give huge portions but here the serving sizes are normal so you definitely will finish your plate. I had the stew brown chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and Mac & cheese. I ate every bite and wished I had another plate later when I got home 🤤.

Island Jamaica Caribbean Restaurant is a great spot for authentic Caribbean food. The flavors are rich, the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and well seasoned. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere has a laid-back island vibe that makes you want to come back. If you’re craving real Jamaican food done right, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The flavor is consistent, the portions are generous, the staff are friendly, and jerk chicken is great! My only complaint is that I haven't gotten to try the mashed potatoes yet because they never have them.
