Island Flavor Cafe

Food is so delicious. I had to write this review before I was even done. Everything is perfect. Temperature is perfect. The food is fresh. The oxtails the meat is literally falling off of the bone. This is the best Jamaican food I’ve eaten since I’ve moved here from New York. All the other places were just nasty. This is so good I will come back.

Very clean, bright and welcoming. The service was polite. I tried the redbean soup which was excellent. Very hardy full of meat and vegetables. I also tried jerk and fried chicken both delicious. Most dishes come with choice of rice but today we just had side vegetables with some gravy. My only suggestion would be a simple homemade hot sauce.

This is one of my favorite Jamaican restaurants. It’s close enough where I’ll go every other day lol. The food is really great, very nice workers and the place is always clean. I got the jerk chicken wrap which was delicious, very flavorful with the right amount of spice. Also got stews peas with rice very good.

Island Flavor cafe gets all 5 stars from me! I've been recently enjoying different dishes here and I can now say I'm a regular. Clean restaurant. Open hot food area where you can see what you're getting. They let you sample too. The best part of all is they let you get lunch prices on their lunch menu all day long. The oxtail is my favorite here so far but the curry chicken here is also amazing. I tried both their white rice and their red bean rice. Both great. The vegetables are a favorite of mine as well. They'll also add gravy to your rice for you. Delicious!

This is by far an authentic Jamaican spot. It is clean. The staff members are friendly, courteous, and professional. It is not often you can find any restaurant, or other establishment, for that matter, where you can freely give an excellent review and never “look back” at what is written. A 5-star all round experience for me! My third visit in less than a month - TODAY and… “I’m feeling great!”
