Island Blaze

This Jamaican restaurant is new to the community. I am always looking for some great, consistent tasting Jamaican food with great customer service, so I decided to try it. Well, I wasn't disappointed at all. The moment that I saw the restaurant from the outside, it gave you a warm and welcoming feeling inside, I was greeted when I stepped in. The stage was already set for me to enjoy a mouth-watering tasting food on the menu. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas, and my daughter ordered a curry goat with rice and peas. The meal comes with steamed cabbage and fried plantains. The food was absolutely delicious!!!

This restaurant is the most relaxing comfortable restaurant to eat at from as soon as you walk through the door. With the most friendly respectful staff and great food to eat especially the Oxtails, but the Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, Red Snapper, and definitely the Beef Patty with Cheese and Coco Bread. Oh my gosh the sides Rice and Beans, Cabbage, and Sweet Plantains are so good as well. Trust me I’m a regular customer ever since they opened up their doors recently and even before that when they were representing their business with giving plates away of their food for free and I respect that so much because that’s a great way to promote your business before it fully opens.

Food and staff was nice 😊 only thing I didn’t really like was the price for a medium brown stew and how much chicken I got…but other than that I wasn’t mad after I ate it. 😁 10/10 will come again. Patties & plantain were good too!

I just recently ordered some food here at Island Blaze. When I got there to pick up my order I was pleased. I was greeted with a friendly smile. The young lady was very polite and professional. The vibe made me feel at home. The food was simply amazing! I don’t lie or sugar coat anything when it comes to leaving reviews of places I’ve experienced especially food places. Island Blaze Is a Must-Visit! 🔥🇯🇲 My Fiancé and I were visiting from Detroit, MI and had heard great things about Island Blaze Jamaican Restaurant—so we had to check it out. And oh my gosh, we were not disappointed! We ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, festival, and jerk pork. Every bite was packed with flavor—the food was absolutely delicious! The drinks were just as impressive, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully put together. The bathrooms were spotless (always a plus!), and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff were professional, attentive, and made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine a
