Customer Reviews
Not only was the service excellent, but the food was delicous! The asada in my burrito was perfectly cooked and smoky. To my delight, my burrito did not have any lettuce in it or queso smothering it. My only critique is that the frijoles were a little bland. My husband had the al pastor and it was the best al pastor I have had in North Carolina. The cantaloupe agua fresca was perfectly refreshing. Can't wait to go back and try more food. We are so happy to have found this place!!! 08/18/25: update...STILL DELICIOUS!
Our family eats here probably once a week, and it’s hands down the best Mexican food around. Some of the most authentic Mexican food you’ll find in NC. The chicken tacos are delicious and packed with flavor, and I absolutely love the flautas. The carne asada tacos are really good, and the birria ramen is another favorite. I also enjoy the street corn. The restaurant is always clean, and the employees are very nice and welcoming. It's definitely on the more pricey side, a little to high but overall, this restaurant is a 10 out of 10!
The food is a real 5/5. Birria tacos were delicious but their birria torta is undefeated. Hands down the best birria torta I’ve ever had. It would be amazing to find a better one. I will say that the consommé is one of the key items for birria and they have only a small cup for my torta. That was slightly disappointing. Here are a few things that I did find frustrating about this place… there are lots of menu items and their tv monitors are tiny. It’s a lot to pack in if you never been there and if there is a line, it would be annoying. Provide hand held menus or at least something on the counter. This place NEEDS more pictures of their menu items.
Food is delicious (pictured is Ramen Birria, chorizo torta, quesabirria, and street corn). I was not a fan of any of the juices (tried 3 different ones). If you want water you have to buy bottled water as they don't have tap. Also not a fan of the prices. This is less of a place to bring the entire family and more of a place for a quick lunch or dinner or for a date.
I haven’t tried the food yet, but the attention and vibe you feel is another level. I highly recommend it. The tacos I ordered look delicious. They are doing a great job
