I usually stop into the Green St., Iselin library on the way home because it’s near where I live. I don’t have a library card so I use the guest pass. I’m usually greeted kindly. However, I noticed one time when there was two librarians working together at the desk the one librarian, who is usually very nice towards me, became very snobby as if I was annoying her with my request for a lost item that was left in the library. I wonder why?

Really good library, as they got all kind of resources. Would mostly find the books I wanted but there are times I had to go to bigger library if I didn’t. But they still have a great collection of fiction, nonfiction, and entertainment. They do have a printer if you wanted to print something. Even though it is a good place to work, it can get noisy sometimes.

Library is meant to be a place with pin drop silence however the 2 librarians just won’t stop talking, though there are ample of books to study you still need silence to focus. There is a reason one has come to library for study. Even if people bring their kids here, you should teach them on how to behave in a certain manner.

I frequently visit the library to study and find it to be a valuable resource. However, I’ve noticed that the noise levels in certain areas can be quite disruptive. On several occasions, there have been groups engaging in conversations and making noise, which significantly impacts the ability to concentrate. I would recommend the library consider implementing clearer guidelines or signs regarding noise levels, especially in designated quiet zones. Perhaps increasing awareness about maintaining a quiet environment or offering more dedicated quiet study areas could help address this issue. Thank you for considering this feedback. I appreciate the library’s efforts in providing a space for learning and hope that these suggestions might enhance the experience for all patrons.

Someone needs to come from the WTSD and come observe these two ladies that won’t stop talking in THE LIBRARY. The freaking signs says no talking in the library. No eating no this no that but the own staff won’t manage and handle the rules so why should we. Never coming back to this place. Inman ave is way better. Atleast they have some type of respect and have some common sense of staying quiet. This colored hair lady and Indian lady need to go.
