Initial Review: 3 stars. Nice little library, but everyone there, including the employees, speaks loudly and without consideration for others. I would go there more often if it wasn't so distracting. As it is, I just get in and get out as fast as I can so I don't have to put up with the rudeness. Small town shouldn't be a synonym for ignorant and crass. Update: I received a reply informing me that sound carries unusually well in this Library and I should use a conference room if I wanted quiet. Sound only carries if there is sound. Most patrons and every employee at the library talk at the top of their voices. The unholy din isn't a product of bad accoustics, it's a product of individuals who don't belong working in a library. I love the Library! Movies and books and fun things for the Kids! Also the Staff is AMAZING
That puppet collection is adorable. Such a fun visit with the nephews. After one visit, I count the Iron River library puppet nook among my happy places, and I can't wait to return.
Wonderful library with great selection and a helpful librarian! There are so many different types of books to pick from! There is something for everyone!
