Angie's Bakery

This cute little bakery in the heart of iron River Wisconsin is pretty great. The owner is so friendly and the bread itself is delicious. I would say the fried goods maybe need to be cooked at a higher temperature so they don't absorb as much grease, but the flavor of everything was delicious. Every time we pass through iron River, this is a place we plan on stopping at.. got a loaf of bread and it was so goooood!

Best donuts you will ever eat. Cookies are really good too. Variety, flavor and service are all top shelf. Try to get there before me. I leave with boxes of donuts and bags of cookies. My favorite is a black cherry Bismark with chocolate frosting. It's like a chocolate covered cherry but way better.

I grew up going to this bakery when it was Marion's. Thirty years later, the recipes and quality are just as good. I get an apple fritter every time I come through - if they haven't sold out for the day. And prices are cheap! Terrific value!

This was an incredible stop. Make the drive & eat the donut. Everything we tried was amazing.
