Iron ramen

The staff were friendly, and the dining area was spacious. After ordering, you get a buzzer and pick up your food and drinks when they’re ready. I tried the curry katsu don, it was good and had that standard Japanese curry flavor, it came with quite a lot of rice. I also got the Sunset drink (pomegranate orange green tea), but it was a bit too sweet for my taste, and I couldn’t really taste the orange. I would recommend getting half sugar for their drinks.

Iron Ramen is the best place to get a real big bowl of really good Ramen in Suffolk Long Island! Definitely try the Pork Belly Ramen! And get the pork belly well done so it stays crispy and meaty in the soup liquid. You'll thank me later! You can make it how ever you want it helps! By picking your own ingredients they provide. Place is pretty big with high ceilings and tables to sit and roomy. The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and they always have good songs on. Big shout out to Darren and his team!! They are the most friendly people! With a quick turn around and your food comes out with in a few min. Also try there famous Amazing chicken! And the pork belly bun is Amazing! Great ramen spot! I had the spicy miso ramen with the ground pork which was pretty spicy in my opinion, good mix of flavors, I really enjoyed it! My girlfriend had the kara-age chicken bowl which was delicious, crispy juicy chicken…rice and sauce were also great! The noodles & broth were pretty good too and a good amount (2 small kids can def share one). Great value overall. Less than $50 for dinner for 2 adults and a kid is hard to find nowadays. Service was good, it’s pretty much self service once you pick up your food from the counter…food came out quickly. Also had the pineapple passion fruit tea which was good! It’s kid friendly with high chairs and little sharing bowls available.

10/10 for the karaage chicken bowls - good price (and 10% cheaper with cash), very good portion, and amazing taste! Extremely quick service, nice people, chill vibe, overall a great place if you are very hungry and craving karaage chicken. Recommend dine-in, it tastes better, they might give you more food actually even though takeout is a good portion as well. And if you don’t finish it they can give takeout containers so it’s a win-win. Also there are cups and tap water. Cannot speak to any of the other food/items, literally only go here for the karaage bowls they are just elite.

I’ve been here many times, I always order the same spicy ramen with extra veggies no protein and the honey tea with pineapple jelly. Sometimes I get the pork bao buns too. This time, the staff completely messed up my drink order and then treated me with unbelievable rudeness when I tried to correct it. I walked in, ordered my usual, and at the end of my order they misheard me and made a honeydew tea instead of the honey tea I always get. When I politely pointed it out to the guy handing me my food, the guy who took my order literally stopped helping another customer just to argue with me in front of everyone.
