Intimite Restaurant

This was my second time here and just like the last time it felt congested and the attitudes were apparent. When ordering I’m greeted by disgruntled faces and attitudes that could be felt everywhere in the room. The food is great but the service could and should be better. You could see that they show more love towards their friends who walk into the restaurant rather than new faces . Instead of being angry be glad that you have a successful business and able to employ locals. Not sure if I’ll be back but I will never tell friends coming to the area about this spot like someone did to me. If I’m spending my hard working money I’d like to be treated with respect and not waved off by the hand by employees who barely want to take my order. Amazing, amazing, amazing. So good that I ate my first plate of the rice and bean and fish with the spicy veggies and then ordered a second to go! The food was amazing and staff was so kind to this American girl from NYC!!! I’m so grateful my friend brought me here. It’s very hard to find very very good Haitian food made with per love!!! I Really Want To Give It A Zero , But I Was Forced To Give it One Star So I Can Write A Review Food : the Food Be Old, Spoiled , Overcooked & BURNT .. I only come here to pick up food for my husband but I personally DONT LIKE THEIR FOOD .. I rather go to AMELY Restaurant OR DENISE SERVICE: They have NO GOOD CUSTOMER SKILLS , NO PROFESSIONALISM , STANK ATTITUDE, RUDENESS … like they don’t know how to talk to people … like who do ya think ya are … ANYWAYS … the CITY or STATE needs to shut this place down due to their LACK OF CLEANLINESS & customers PLEASE STOP COMING HERE … that’s why they talk to people any how because as long as they are making money they don’t think they need to do it with HOSPITALITY & With a BETTER ATTITUDE SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME DONT BUY FROM THERE

This girl name “bean” was gethooo over the phone when I call to place an order, I know Haitian restaurant doesn’t have good customer service but I never experience such nastiness(she has the nerve to say I don’t have to take your order, I can hung up the phone) just because we were trying to place multiple orders then when I went in person to actually see the face of that human she was yapping on someone who called to place an order .people are standing in the lobby watching her then another customer was asking her a question that’s when all hell break loose. People should take their money elsewhere there’s plenty of great restaurants in the neighborhood who value customer.

The food was flavorful and true to Haitian tradition I ordered griot with rice and Akra and the seasoning was spot on. The portion sizes were generous, which I appreciated. If you’re craving bold, savory flavors, they definitely deliver on that front.
