International Market & Deli

Love this place! A small but stuffed with great international hard to find grocery items concentrated in the Middle East and Asia. Some really good prices too. It also has a small menu of delicious food too. I had the best chicken wrap with tahini sauce I’ve had in a long time here. Nice fresh cut veggies and it was perfect. Had a tub of humus with a wrap for dipping on the side too

Nice hole in the wall market with great prices and unique products! We enjoyed the Turkish delights, Turkish coffee, gyros and non-alcoholic malts. The lady running the store, Crystal, was very kind, informative and friendly. Be sure to stop by for any snacks and advice if you’re touring the area! If you’d like a sit-down restaurant, a few blocks down there’s a sister store with equal prices, called International Café.

This is one of my favorite places on Lighthouse. If you know what you are looking for, it's amazing.... if you don't.....it's a treasure trove of adventure! They have my favorite teas and saffron sugar. Their sweets are unparalleled! And the staff....the staff! They are amazing and knowledgeable. Regardless of how busy they make me feel like I'm the only one in the store. Their menu is simple and perfected. I almost always get the beef shwarma, and I love everything about it! And they have a good selection of bottled drinks from the Middle East I have never seen before, so I always try a new one! Go eat their food and be happy!

Near Monterey Bay I found this Mediterranean grocery store cum food place. As it was Halal so I decided to give it a try. Their Menu was so petite that you could only find very basic items of mediterranean cuisine with chicken and beef/ lamb variants. I had Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Beef Shawarma Wrap and Baklava in pistachio flavor. Chicken Shawarma was average but Beef one didn't have any taste, in my language it was totally PHEEKA! Anyways Baklava made my visit there little worthy as it was good. There is no space for dining in or out.

Such sweet ladies took great care of us. Bought some pita and baklava... delicious. Highly recommend.
