Intermodal Hub Public Facility

I travel to Tonawanda two or three yearly, really enjoy walking thru the little town, so quaint, so pretty, friendly folks and absolutely love the bathrooms by the green bridge there by the canal. I usually walk 4 miles daily so they are very handy and always very clean. Thank you

This facility is really nice. The bathrooms are easily accessible, and have lockers and a changing area inside. They've always been clean when I have been there, though I am more likely to use the water fountain/bottle filler out in the back. The back also has a bike tool station and a vending machine for some common bike parts (think inner tubes and such) and water bottles. One really nice thing about the back of the restroom building is that it has covered areas so that if you have to work on your bike, you aren't out in the hot sun or getting soaked in the rain. The pavilion has a lot of picnic tables inside, but with three sides being open, even on a hot day one can get out of the sun and enjoy the breeze within sight of the canal. I 100% support in having this public facility located in this particular spot because it’s a central location for all the outdoor festivals, fairs, city celebration, live band music….etc. activities that takes place year round along the canal.
