The Gateway Cafe & Grill

We weren't the easiest customrs. I showed up with "I don't know how many more will show up", it turns out there were nine of us. This is a small place, and they handled us with decent grace despite us being awkwardly large. The food came quick, and it was good. I had the chicken basket, and it was good, and nicely crispy! The parking is enough, but odd - most of the lot by the restaurant is for the pool place across the street.

Just found this place today, glad I did! The French onion soup was delicious! I also had a tuna melt on their Cuban bread and it was also delicious. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend it. The staff was very friendly.

Every visit is consistently excellent! I had the pastrami and Swiss sandwich along with the Italian sausage soup—both were absolutely outstanding. If I could give it an 11 out of 10, I would! Candy was my server, and she was incredibly upbeat and accommodating, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!!

The soup and sandwich special are wonderful! You can have your choice of one of their sandwiches, and a cup of their soup.Under $10 and a lot tastier than any fast food you will ever find. I like the fact that they are open later in the day instead of closing but Fridays they are open until 8 p.m. . Great staff, excellent food and a great buy!!
