How I wish my school use this writing structure and style. I should have been spared from anxiety and stress. I am extremely happy that my friend Kelli introduced IEW to me. I am using it now for my homeschooling daughter, and she loves it. I highly recommend it.

As a mother of a reluctant writer, I'd like to thank IEW for rebuilding my boy's confidence and joy in learning writing. Once we started the SSS-1A with the forever streaming, he started to look forward to this time. No more tears and endless sighs. He loves listening to Mr. Andrew Pudewa and his jokes. First, let me state that I'm likely biased because my English teachers approached writing similarly, and I went to public schools 1st-12th grade. Apparently I learned writing well enough that in college I was not required to take a technical writing class. I'm pretty sure I went to school before IEW was crafted from Blended Sound-Sight Method of Learning, so maybe my English teachers were just more "old school"? There are some concerns some reviews/blogs have brought up about the program I'll quickly address, although they are probably addressed elsewhere. 1) It is formulaic and there are those checklists of "style techniques", etc. ** As a former teacher (granted, math), I don't have a problem w/checklists. Amazing. The skills learned by the student are unmatched by any I’ve ever encountered. Thought I’ve only been using IEW’s Methods for a year, I have advanced further in my writing and grammar skills than all my previous schooling years combined. Thanks to IEW.

This curriculum is awesome! Our kids have become much better writers and speakers in such a short time. It takes the fear out of the "creative" part in creative writing.
