Inside Scoop Ice Cream

Great little place that has a bit of a wow factor for the kids. Great ice cream. Great price. Love how it's tucked away.

I stopped here at The inside Scoop in Shippensburg as part of the Cumberland Valley Ice Cream Trail. What an adorable place. It was it busy at all bec I guess most ppl were at the fair tonite. Anyway, it worked for me. You order at the window and you can sit outside in this area, very woodsy and so cool. It’s like you’re no longer in Ship! I just keep thinking it would b a great place for a little party! Def could add some plants though! Very shady and green and relaxing. Loved the lights. And there was music. I had a scoop of S’mores ice cream and a scoop of coffe ice cream. The ppl working there seemed nice. I was impressed at the overall quaintness!

An awesome little ice cream shop with a lovely outside area to sit(like sitting in a grotto) Very inviting! And the ice cream is delicious!

Stopped by this ice cream shop during opening week and was thoroughly impressed by its welcoming atmosphere and incredible ice cream assortment. Sourced from two beloved regional dairies; Ritchey’s and Windy Knoll, each ice cream flavor is high quality and rival one another. It is difficult to know which one to choose! The backyard seating area provides a nice ambiance to enjoy your ice cream and take in the joys of small town Americana where most patrons (and scoopers) seem to know each other. Sit and stay awhile!

Super friendly staff, they were quick to offer recommendations and assistance! We went to try out the “Shark Week” sundae and it did not disappoint! Love that a local shop is offering specials that relate to holidays/fun things occurring like shark week! The prices were great for the amount you receive… we could barely finish our sundaes which NEVER happens for us! Everything was clean, organized, and the music was cute! The back area to sit and eat had their lights on and was beautiful. I was really worried to sit outside Because when we had visited the previous business (Cabin) I was eaten a live by mosquitoes while ordering, however, the new owners must have taken care of this issue because we didn’t have any bites! Looking forward to going back… this place is so quaint and is a gem!
