Art of Pie Cafe

LOVE this place! I ordered a mocha, chicken salad sandwich, and double chocolate cake- all were very tasty. The back patio was so nice- I stayed there for over two hours enjoying my coffee and reading. The staff was very friendly and continued to check on me during my time there. I will definitely be back again. :)

Loved the crab pie, custard coconut pie - right amount of sweetness and chocolate mud pie, everything was really good.

Excellent gem in beautiful downtown Shippensburg. Wonderful food, deserts, and pie too. Very reasonable prices and cozy warm atmosphere.

I was excited to try this place and had high hopes. I got a variety of desserts from the case, some macarons, and 2 iced coffee drinks. When I got home and started trying my treats, I was so disappointed (I started trying them immediately, the same day I got them, not after letting them sit for a few days). The macarons were HARD and tasted stale, as if they had sat in the case all week. Worst macarons I've ever had unfortunately, and I LOVE macarons. I got a slice of the bourbon pecan pie. The filling was delicious and exactly what I personally love about pecan pie- thick, rich, flavorful. However, the crust tasted as if it had been frozen; it was not fresh. Their sandwiches are super good and the croissants are amazing! They also have very good desserts except we did find hair in our cake.😬 Otherwise it was great. Very nice people there and there is a pretty nice patio out back.
