Inn On The Horse Farm

We booked this B&B for our first romantic trip as a couple, and my first trip to MA and loved it. It was a 4 night, 5 day trip. My boyfriend called ahead to let them know we would have a late arrival due to my flight (little did we know how late that would end up being lol) and there was an envelope with directions to our room and a key waiting for us. The room was gorgeous and even included a fireplace and balcony which were not included in the description of the room we booked which was a huge plus! The atmosphere was lovely and the jacuzzi was perfect. We never met the inn keepers and the cafe was closed but that was not a big deal considering we wanted privacy and had plenty of juice choices in the mini fridge with some breakfast snacks provided by them. No one to greet you or ask questions. No one to make breakfast. Even though it said Bed and Breakfast. Front Door was never locked. It stated ride horses NOT. NO ONE TO ASK ABOUT IT. Very expensive for nothing. Better off getting a Brand name hotel. It could have been nice if they had some amenities. DO NOT GO. Almost $300,00 and not even worth &100.00

The rooms and grounds were lovely. We had two king suites. However, it appeared that they had not been cleaned fully. We found a pair of women's under garments left in a corner and both the tub was dusty and the fridge had syrup and bugs in it. Several surfaces in our room were dusty. I let the owner know, but did not receive a response. My biggest complaint, however is that they decided not to serve breakfast without telling us. I happened to inquire as to the time frame for breakfast at 8pm and was told that because she and her husband were in their 70's they didn't want to interact with guests. It was a little late at that point for me to make other arrangements for breakfast and to be able to stay until check out to enjoy the room the next morning. It would have been very easy

Where to start…arrived to an empty inn, no problem there, except room was dirty. Coffee pot still had old coffee in it, someone’s hot chocolate cup was under chair and had mold growing in it, hot water ran out before my husband got his shower, batteries didn’t work in the TV remote, breakfast was a joke…instant oatmeal packets in the room and a 5 pk of store bought donuts. Coffee pot was provided in room but no cream or sugar. Never again!

We stayed here in Oct from out of state. My husband spent hours reviewing many different accommodation options and from photos and reviews decided we would stay here. When we pulled in, we thought we had arrived at a run down old house. It looked like the garden, landscape, steps leading up to the house hasn’t been tended for a long time. “Contactless checkin” means there’s an envelope with your name pasted on the door with your room key. Open the squeaky front door to a small reception area, all other doors are closed (no fireplace in lobby as advertised in one website) up the stairs. All rooms are name of horses.
